Overview
This portable canteen is designed for campers navigating wild terrains, drawing inspiration from the resilient silhouette and protective shell of a beetle. The form and structure pay homage to the beetle’s natural armor, emphasizing durability and organic elegance. Developed as part of Design Principles II, this project represents an iterative, inspiration-driven approach to both design and production. Key fabrication techniques include vacuum forming over custom wooden molds and precision detailing with 3D printing.
